Apple Photos Library may stop being cataloged
If you are a macOS user, when selecting which internal storage folders to catalog, EdgeRover allows you to include the Photos Library.
Although it is possible to have more than one Photos Library, EdgeRover will only catalog the System Photos Library.
There are situations in which a Photos Library may cease to be the System Photos Library and in that case, cataloging will stop, such as if the Photos Library was deleted and re-created.
To select which Photos Library is the System Photos Library, do the following in the Apple Photos App:
- Click on Photos
- Click on Preferences
- In the dialog box, go to the General tab
- Select the desired Photos Library and click on the button Use as System Photo Library
