Changing your password

If you change your password in EdgeRover, the new password will apply to EdgeRover and your My Cloud Home, My Cloud OS 5 and SanDisk ibi device. Likewise, if you change your password in any of those products, your new password will apply to EdgeRover too.

If you are currently logged in:

  • In the EdgeRover main menu, click on Settings
  • Then click on Account Settings
  • Now, to the right of the current password, click on the “pencil icon”
  • This will bring up a panel in which you can enter your old password followed by the new one

If you are currently not logged in:

  • In the EdgeRover main menu, click on Settings
  • Then click on Account Settings
  • Click on Sign In
  • At the bottom of the next screen, click on Forgot Password?
  • Follow the instructions provided to complete resetting your password
