File information

When EdgeRover catalogs a file, it captures information about it that is stored in the file itself.

When you are in the Single Item View, you can display this information by clicking on the button or text to it's right. This action opens a panel with information that includes the file name, file type, file size, file source, creation and modification dates and folder location.

Some files may have additional information. If this is the case, Show More will be displayed. For example, digital photos may have information about the camera, focal length, ISO speed and F-Number.

The above information is taken automatically from the original file. There are also areas for you to add you own information about a file, making it easier to remember information about the file (File Description) and to find it (Tags).
