Turbo Mode
Catalog your content faster with EdgeRover™ Turbo Mode! With this feature enabled, EdgeRover can catalog your content up to four times faster. It’s useful if you need to catalog a large amount of content quickly, such as a new storage device.
Turbo Mode removes the restrictions on how much of your system’s resources EdgeRover can use to catalog your content.
Caution: Don’t use Turbo Mode while you work on your computer. It might cause other applications to slow down or become unresponsive. By default, Turbo Mode is turned off to ensure it doesn’t affect system performance.
To activate Turbo Mode:
- Click Turbo Mode
on the main menu. This action brings you to the Settings
page. - In the main view, toggle Turbo Mode on to enable this feature.
Note: Turbo Mode is only available on computers with four or more CPU cores and more than 4GB of RAM.
