Why can I play some videos and audio content but not others?

EdgeRover™ catalogs your content and extracts "previews". You may see a preview of a video but cannot play it. There may also be audio files you cannot play in EdgeRover.

There are two scenarios:

  1. The content needs to be available to play it. If it resides on a device that is currently not connected (e.g. it is on a USB flash drive in a drawer) you will see the preview but will not be able to play it in until you plug in the drive.
  2. The video or audio file may be available but not supported in the software. In this case, you should use the "Open" feature to play it in another application.
