Why don't my Office files have previews?
On Microsoft Windows®, creation of thumbnails and previews of Office files for products such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel was added in release 1.2 of EdgeRover™. As a result, Office files cataloged prior to this release do not have thumbnails and previews, whereas files cataloged in 1.2 or later do have them.
If you'd like to add missing thumbnails and previews:
- Make sure that you are on release 1.2 or later
- Remove the files' Source(s) from the catalog
- Add the Source(s) to the catalog again
